The Boy Scouts of Troop 46 are raising funds for camping equipment and summer camp scholarships. The Troop will be selling tasty hand seasoned 10-12 lb. briskets lovingly smoked for 10 hours. The briskets will be cooked by parents and scouts from April 28th through May 1, 2011 next to the Blanton Building.
The briskets will be pre-sold for $48 each (this is half the price of buying smoked brisket at a smokehouse). The cooked briskets will be picked up at the Blanton Building. When ordering, customers will be able to choose pickup on either Friday, April 29th (evening), Saturday, April 30th (all day) or Sunday, May 1st (morning). Like last year, the Boy Scouts will personally deliver all briskets ordered as a donation for the Star of Hope shelter.
The Boy Scouts will have a table in St Luke’s courtyard on April 10th and 17th for you to fill-out order forms and pay for your brisket and to collect your ticket. Checks are payable to St. Luke’s UMC. Cash is also welcome. You must order and pay for your brisket by April 24th.
Please support the Boy Scouts and your taste buds and buy and enjoy a wonderful smoked brisket!
Order forms and checks may also be dropped off at the Troop 46 mail slot at the St. Luke’s Main Office or mailed to St. Luke’s UMC, Attn: Troop 46 Fundraiser, P.O. Box 22013 Houston, Texas 77227-2013. Questions? Contact Sandeep Seth at sseth@susmangodfrey.com.
